What a turn-around from last week! I think we just ran out of gas against a good team on Sunday. The boys should be proud of their 2nd place finish and the start of the week with a win over the Red Raiders.

We are heading into the home stretch of our league play and we look to finish as strong as we started. Our pitching has been solid and our defense equally as good. Offensively we can put runs on the board as well. Let’s maintain the positive momentum and finish league play strong.

2nd Place Finish @ AH Turf Showdown

Today’s tournament result was a mixed bag of emotions. On one hand…a great accomplishment but on the other hand…we fell short of our goal. Understand that it is through events like today we will become stronger in similar situations down the road. When looking at the totality of the weekend, the coaches are excited about how you performed! Baseball is a long season. Let’s be thankful for our 2nd place finish and continue to do the work necessary to improve.

WE AREONE!

Never A Doubt!

For our first game of the season, the coaches could not be more proud of the effort and positive mindset displayed tonight. After the game we spoke about how we didn’t miss a beat from last season; solid defense and throwing strikes. I am sure as the weather heats up so will our bats. The coaches saw plenty of good swings…our timing was a bit off but we will get there.

Great Job1!!!

Tough one today!

We played some great defensive baseball today. We turned a double play on a line drive (executed play # 2 on a first and third) and threw a guy out stretching a double (GREAT RELAY)! We played a 5.5 inning game in just over an hour (outstanding!)

Here is where we need to improve: we had one walk to 7 strike outs. Tomorrow…let’s show patience and see the ball deep in the zone. The rest will take care of itself.

Let’s go out and have some fun tomorrow.
